CONCACAF Champions League? What CONCACAF Champions League?
The Seattle Sounders are looking forward to their Week 1 match against Sporting Kansas City tonight and not looking back.
In fact they are encouraging fans to arrive early for the match against Sporting Kansas City offering Beer, Wine and Food!
The CenturyLink Field gates open at 2:30 p.m. PT with food trucks on the North Plaza, with local favorites Snout & Co. and Tat’s Delicatessen serving food ahead of first kick.
This is how my family mourns a big loss; lasagna, thirty racks and enough vino to drown a horse. Celebrate the life and then enjoy living your own. I love the positivity!
Seattle is out to prove they can survive without Obafemi Martins and look to something old and something new to win tonight.
Something Old = Clint Dempsey whose free kick against Club America still has me saying “Have Mercy” like Uncle Jesse when he walks in on Aunt Becky draped in PG-Rated lingerie.
Something New = Hometown Hero Jordan Morris has a lot pressure on him to to replace Martins’ nose for goal. If he can be 1/2 that man his name will get tossed around in “Rookie of the Year” talk. If he flops, Sounders fans will be deflated and it will take some mental fortitude for him to push past that energy.
A strong performance tonight and The Sounders are going to have to summon the food trucks back into the parking lot for post game. Double down on the pork belly bao buns!
